Today is going to be a busy, busy day. I have to finish a seven page memo, which I have five pages on, but am missing some crucial pieces of argument. Westlaw is screwing up, and I hate WordPerfect like rat poison on a cracker. But I got the book I need to look at, so things will be okay.

This morning I came into school and signed onto AIM, and had a conversation with a friend I haven't talked to in probably five years, maybe more. He was my very first GM, back on the Sim Forums on AOL when I wasn't entirely sure whether or not gaming was evil. He ran an awesome game that Mike and I still reminisce about today (that's where we met, after all.) We had a really nice conversation that got me feeling better about a lot of things that have worried me lately. So I am happy today, even though I have to finish my memo, even though things like bills and the future are still scary. It's good to know that there are people who've traveled the road before you, and who come along with you.

Now I'm going to go get some work done, and maybe have a cup of tea as well. And enjoy this smiley feeling inside, cause it's awfully nice.
