Is there anybody here it doesn't suck to be?

Worst morning in a long time. I was really sick last night, nauseous and stomachachy, and didn't get my Crim Law reading done. I got up this morning (after sleeping on the couch cause Mike's dad is in town,) and was happy that I didn't have class till 9:30. Mike and his Dad left for Chicago to do his graduation, and I was sorry I couldn't go, but I had to go to class. I figured I would take the car, so I didn't have to catch the bus so early. I pissed around for a little while, then remembered that my library books are due today. I found three of them, but Mike cleaned yesterday, so most of my possessions are in a pile in the closet and I couldn't find the last one. I figured, well, I only have morning classes, so I'll come back and get it this afternoon. Then I couldn't find my keys. I looked everywhere. Checked my purse, my briefcase, all my pants, all my drawers. Nowhere. And we don't have a spare key. And I missed the last express bus.

After panicking for a little while, I called a cab, not knowing what to do. They told me it would cost six bucks to go to campus and that they could get me there by 9:30. The guy went to the wrong place first, because our address is weird, then picked me up and told me it would be 12 dollars. I only had seven, but he was nice about it and let me go with six. I got to school, raced down and got my books from my locker, then realized that my class was in a different room, but not which one. I finally found it by checking each room in the hallway, and slid into my chair just at the stroke of 9:30. Then class sucked too, but you all get the idea.

Now I have only one more class today (the one I didn't do the reading for, and am reading now), but I have no way to get home. I could take the bus, but I'd still be locked out. And I have nothing to eat but a thing of microwave popcorn. Things are sad and unfortunate. More as it develops, if I feel like writing.
