So after two days of playing the Pepsi iTunes game, I have three song codes, one of which I have already used. I have come to the conclusion that it would definitely be more fiscally efficient to just buy the damn songs straight out. At the very least, I wouldn't have drunk so much farging Pepsi last night, and as a result, I wouldn't still be sitting here at nearly eight am, still drinking Pepsi and reorganizing my music files.
Of course, I can't say that there aren't benefits to Pepsi-induced energy. I like to pull an all nighter at least a few times a term, just to keep my hand in. There's something nice about watching the sun rise, as long as you don't have to wake up for it. I also read through the archives on a fantastic webcomic: Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire . I love it. It's on my list of comics to keep up with daily now. I have 13, which puts me squarely at dilletante level, I understand. That works for me. I only have so much room in my brain. I used to have more, but then I realized I didn't care about Bruno the Bandit and Ghost Cat, and I actively disliked Clan of the Cats, so away they went. Okashina Okashi? Well, I never even really understood it. So now I've got a few open slots on my list. Any suggestions?

Oh, and amazingly enough, all that sugar and caffeine brought back to mind a LARP character concept I'd had a long time ago and forgotten, and actually got me interested enough to write her up. I don't know if I'd actually want to play her, but she's certainly different than anything I've played before. A Ventrue... *evil grin* The most daunting part of the whole process is figuring out how much XP I would get, playing from the very beginning of the chronicle. Both Hannah and Monica were rolled up as NPCs, so it was basically "I'm going to make a character about yea powerful," without worrying so much about the points. So they were no help. I still have to talk with Reid about getting a generation and things like that, if I do want to play her. In any case, it was cathartic to be able to create a character without having to worry about furthering some overarching storyline, or my personal biases and obligations to the game. I feel better now than I did before. Of course, that might be the chemical enhancement talking...
That's definitely the chemical enhancement talking. It's now 1:13, five hours after I wrote all the above. I just came back and noticed I forgot to actually post. Scary...
