And everything looks beautiful, when you're young and pretty...
So, it's spring, when a young woman's fancy turns to thoughts of "OMG, almost time to wear swimsuits." So I'm going on a diet, in competition with a number of members of my extended family. We all tossed money into a pot, winner takes all, with the winner being the one who loses the highest percentage of body weight. I imagine I'll be posting occasionally to bitch about not being able to eat the things I want, and crowing if I manage to lose some weight. Since I don't want to subject friends to that, I'll be putting it all behind a lock, much as many of my friends have done with subjects that hold limited interest for people. If anyone wants to follow the four-month saga, whether to offer encouragement or for purposes of schadenfreude, let me know and I'll give you access. Today is Day 2, so it's too early to give a progress report, even if I wanted to.
