Headed for Bed

So, I've got a lot of stuff to do tomorrow. Getting up early again, going to go talk to Tom Clayton and see if I can audit the Scientific American class. Just to have something to do when I only have one thrice weekly class and one workshop. After that, I've got to go talk to Professor Superhero, who apparently didn't like my first paper.
Couple of interesting observations about Prof Superhero. He hated my first paper for the last class I took with him as well. I'm not sure that's relevant. He gives out stupid paper topics, ones that I find hard to write on. Professor Same-First-Name-as-Half-The -People-I-Know is much better about that sort of thing, I actually enjoy writing for her class. Professor Superhero doesn't tend to like people who don't agree with his opinions. He also doesn't seem to be too fond of girls in his class. I am normally the last one to level this accusation, since I am willfully oblivious, but it's hard not to see. He'll call on a guy three times before he'll call on a girl in one of his classes, even if the guy's been talking all hour. And the only other person to get called in on this paper thing was another girl. That's pretty long odds, considering there's only three girls in our class of 12. I've been disconnecting with that class lately. It's a bad habit of mine that I need to break. But when I know Professor Superhero is only going to ignore me when I raise my hand, or give some condescending reply, it doesn't seem worth it. Which is too bad, because this is a class I think I could almost like.
Oh well, at least there's next term. Professor Same-First-Name has told me that she's running Senior Sem next term, about whether or not people have the right to have children. Should be exceedingly interesting. And at least now I'm not worried about my GPA anymore. Screw it.
