So, my boss is out sick today, which means I am in charge of the office. So far so good, I have made plane reservations and sent FedExes and any number of other officy things that make me feel very grown-up and managerial. It's nice to know that I can be self-motivated and directed when I have to be, and keep tabs on all the people in the office who are out traveling or sick or whatever.
I didn't have a chance to weigh in on LARP over the weekend, so I suppose I will now. It was a shame that Barbara Ann didn't get to make her planned appearance, but on the other hand, Moira got to be all kinds of a bitch on her last night of play. And it's just fun to be really extremely bitchy every once in awhile. I was hoping to provoke someone into frenzy, but no luck there. Oh well. I will miss Moira, she was a lot of fun to play, but I'm really looking forward to my new character as well. To the point where I think Lauren is almost ready to throttle me, but that's okay. I have also been working on codifying the Path of Cartoonish Villany.
I am also actually online this afternoon, with a real working version of AIM. Talk to me, I will wax enthusiastic on any number of entertaining topics for your edification and amusement. It's that or go to the copy room and count how many binder clips are in a five-drawer cabinet. Sigh.
