I don't do nearly as many memes now as I did when I started this journal, but I'll do fun ones when they come along. Plus, this one is long but easy. It's weird to see that I'm on my fourth LJ year now. Time does go marching on, doesn't it? So here's my first sentence for each month of 2004.
January: So, in ten minutes I'm leaving for my first class of the new term.
February: So I went down to try and make my cake tonight for LARP tomorrow (because dammit, you can never have too much chocolate cake).
March So, very busy day today, got up at 7am and drove with Mike to Freeport for our premarital counselling.
April: Consider this an update from me.
May: So Mike just left, about ten minutes ago.
June: So, I've decided it's time for a little updatey action, now that I'm a big time college graduate with my B.A. in Philosophy (still unemployable after all these years!).
July: I have a home! I spent the last three days in Chicago, moving furniture and unpacking boxes and opening many boxes of individaully wrapped dishes and washing them.
August: Wow... it's been a busy few weeks.
September: For those of you who aren't aware, the Red Cross is facing a critical blood shortage all across the country, with as little as a single day's supply in reserve some places.
October: I am in Freeport tonight, in town for Allie's nineteenth birthday party.
November: So, here I am, near the end of another workday, a day away from another paycheck.
December: So, got Mike's second tuition bill the other day.
And that was my year. Encompassed senior year, graduation, marriage, moving, new job, death of a pet, and all sorts of other crazy shit. I'm not sure that this little review actually taught me anything, except that I should stop starting my posts with the word "So," quite so often. Oh well.
