Too tired to wake up, too tired to sleep...

I have to go to bed. I'm dragging and sleepy and I think I must have PMS. I'm waiting up to finish my homework, but it is too difficult. Tomorrow I don't have anything cooking till noon, I think I will wake up then and do it. But right now, the bed is singing softly along with the birds, it wants me to come to it...

Speaking of pushy inanimate objects, watched The Haunting today for Filmlosophy. The old one. Weird movie. Creepy as all hell in parts, but really way too bipolar for its own good. I don't mind conflicted motives, but these people didn't know if they were coming or going. Interesting sidenote, although this is a fairly straghtforward genre movie, the aggressive lesbian and the philandering scientist both live, while the main love interest goes kaput. A bit of a twist, especially since the movie goes considerably out of its way to point up both of those character attributes. Oh well, I'm sure we will be told the meaning of it all tomorrow in class.

Heh--amusing how we're all about liberal learning and formation of individual interpretations and opinions about things here, yet we hope (or at least expect) to be "told the meaning of it all" when we make the move from material to lecture...

Well of course, or I wouldn't be taking Filmlosophy at all, I'd sit around and watch movies and save thousands of dollars. =)
