Someday I'll fly away...

( I spek gud Inglesh! )
Well, now I've got that out of my system. I've been working with the birdlettes lately, letting them out of their cage when Victoria isn't in the room. They're getting to be much better fliers now, and are discovering the concept of steering as well. Dana almost steered her way right into the toilet today, just about gave her poor mommy a heart attack. They really prefer the cage though, and are shy about going anywhere else. One of these days I hope they start branching out to investigate the birdseed and fun toys elsewhere in the room. The good news is, they're almost entirely converted to mash now, which is so much better for them than birdseed. They eat it with ill grace, but they do eat it.
I've been talking about LARP a lot this week, what with helping make the House Rules list and working to intro our new characters. It's been frustrating at points, but mostly fun. It sure makes the work day go faster! Mike and I have also been talking Werewolf a lot, after we borrowed the books off Lauren last weekend. Our consensus is that we do not know what the White Wolf developers were smoking when they decided to make Garou the good guys. Compared to them, Vampires look like boy scouts. At least licks have Humanity ratings to keep them honest. As a group, they really need a smackdown from Gaia for making her look so bad.
In other news, when I put Mike's shoes on, it looks like I have clown feet.
In other other news, I have a question for everyone. How do you spell the way crying sounds? Not like baby crying, "Waaaaaaaah" is at least a close approximation. I'm talking sobbing, adult type crying. The best I can find in literature is "Boo hoo hoo," and that's not even close. Where does the B come from? I'm thinking more along the lines of "Ehu, ehu, ehu," for that really chokey sort, but it's hard to say. What do you think?
