Time now for another exciting episode of the "Cori Doesn't Want to Do Housework Show" in which our heroine, Little Cori, does everything she can possibly think of to avoid washing the ginormous pile of dishes in the sink. Including, it seems, updating her LiveJournal.
Things have been pretty quiet here this week. Danny looks like a little birdie monster, and I can't give him a bath or get him back into the vet until Tuesday. Poor little boogerhead. He seems to be doing better though, if only in the fact that he's much better at screaming and trying to fly away when I'm holding him down and medicating him. Mike and I are going grocery shopping tomorrow, and I think I might stop at PetCo on the way into Niles and pick up some more toys for everyone. Victoria has destroyed all of hers, and I think the birds are tired of the ones they've had so long. Plus they've destroyed the belled balls, so those at least need to be replaced. I have birthday money, so I'm all set. I've found that if I don't spend my birthday money purposely on something nice, I end up pissing it away on stupid shit like vending machine food.
Work, as I may have mentioned a few million times, is insanely boring. But I have a paycheck coming Monday, and another one due me for this past week of work. Every paycheck counts! If I can hold onto this job, or a similarly paying one, until May, I think I'll say hell with it and hire a moving company to take care of the move to Champaign. It's going to be so tiring and so complicated without a moving company, but right now we just can't afford it. So if we can, I'm gonna go for it. And I will have a dishwasher!
Which, unfortunately, brings me right back to where I started the entry. So I guess I'd better go. No telling if the dishes will get done, but at least I'm thinking about it. I mean, I still do need to make a grocery list. Yeah, grocery list, that's the ticket!
