Okay, so I just finished up my phone interview with the HR person from the company I may be going to work for for the next three months. It was really short, almost anticlimactic for something I've been worrying about all day long, but it seemed to go well. I'm going to do a face-to-face interview with her sometime this week, probably Thursday. Bill, my boss at the temp agency says I might be able to get more money for this job if they really like me, and it would be a job that will last until we move to Champaign, which would be great.
Doesn't necessarily sound like the most interesting job, but I can deal with that. It's amazing how much more palatable any job looks when faced with unemployment. And I really much prefer the sitting-on-my-ass jobs to things like flipping burgers or cleaning toilets! So wish me luck, and we'll see how it goes.
