Wonderful things! This has been a very busy week full of all kinds of goodness. I haven't posted any of it, but I will now.
First and most wonderful: I got a job! I will start training this Saturday with Primerica Financial Services, and when my training is done, I will be a salesperson, and will consult with clients on how to save for retirement and college funds and pay off mortages and buy enough insurance and things like that. It should make enough money to keep me in Rice-A-Roni, and I'll learn many things that I ought to know about money as well. Cool beans. I will also have an insurance license, as an added bennie.
Second wonderful thing: I'm going to a Jimmy Buffett concert tomorrow! I got a deal on eBay for two seats, and splurged on them. So tomorrow night I take Mike to his first Jimmy concert, at the Tweeter Center. It's going to be so fun! I'm sure I will miss tailgating like at Alpine Valley, but the concert should be fabulous. And at 45 dollars a seat, I don't have to feel _too_ guilty... It's my I Got A Job celebration!
Mike and I have also been getting hooked in with churches and Bible studies here, something I kind of got out of at Knox. We've met some great people, and I have someone to bake for, so it's awfully nice. And this weekend we're going to see Reid and Lauren, and then go to Freeport for Kirsten's birthday party, and go to the Stephenson County Fair and get magnets! Yaaaaaay!
So all in all it's been a pretty awesome week.
