electra310: (Torg under bed)
I won't take long with this, because I have class coming up, and I'm very hungry. But I like to mark the passage of time from time to time. It's the first hump day of the new term already. I think everyone is ready for a weekend. I am learning to love my headphones, and love my boyfriend even more. Headphones are great because you can listen to whatever you want, however loud you want, without making your parakeets go apeshit. Plus, they're a damn sight better than putting your hands over your ears and yelling "LALALALALALALALA!" My boyfriend is even better, because he can yank me out of a bitchy mood better than just about anyone else. Even if he was the cause, though that's not usually the case.

Oh, and I finished another weaving project. Not entirely happy with the edges. I'm trying again with a different design. Soon I will need more yarn. This weaving thing is very textiles intensive.

I've been thinking, which is generally a dangerous pastime for me. But I need something interesting to happen in LARP, you know, to start the term off with a bit of a bang. You know what would be fun? What if the entire city (the vampire population, that is) all went into torpor for a hundred years, and woke up in 2104? Wouldn't that be fabulous? Then they'd all have to band together with each other, at least to a certain extent, because they're all in the same boat of having no idea what they're doing, or what's been going on. It would be an influence hit, sure, but no one uses influences anyhow, except at the most inappropriate times (Yes, I know the game's just started, but I just thought of something great I wanted to do with my influences two weeks ago...) We could make up an awesome near-future sci-fi world, with all sorts of great things going on, and on top of that, the mystery of what the hell happened to everyone. It would be fantastic! Plus, I'd get the pleasure of smiting every single person in the city into torpor, which would help me resolve a lot of free-floating aggravation.

Mmm, maybe for the April Fools game or something. =)
