I've had good days and bad days and going-half-mad days...

My polka-dot plant is being willfull again. The main plant is still growing at a nearly frightening pace, and has decided to sprout another batch of fun purple flowers. Which is nice, and cheers me up. The satellite plant, on the other hand, is a different matter. I chopped it off the main plant because it was getting too tall and viney for my liking, and chocked it in a bottle of water to see if it would take root or die. It has decided to do neither. I've had it in water for almost two weeks, and it's growing. But only in the leaves and stems. In fact, it cheekily sprouted its own purple flower a few days back. But no roots. Apparently it aspires to be a water plant. If it keeps up, maybe I'll give it its wish and introduce it to SparklePrincess...

I ended up staying up almost all last night working on the costume project. I slept from about 6:15 to 8, which was barely enough to keep me from throwing up, my body's way of telling me to knock it the hell off. Ended up dozing off in court this afternoon, how embarrassing. I really need to take a nap, preferably a long one. My emotional control, which is always a little chancy, tends to get worse the more exhausted I am.

I really don't want to go to the meeting tonight. Really.
