Still Here!
Jan. 12th, 2003 10:22 amLook! I'm still alive! Hooray for me! I had a lot of stuff to work through over Christmas break, but now I am happy and ready to journal again! To commemorate this auspicious occasion, I will wax enthusiastic about things I like.
I like roleplaying! The LARP was last night, my first session as an ST. I think it went really well! Downtime seemed to go faster in pregame, and I even got to make copies of everyone's character sheet so we can put them on the computer. The game itself was also good, I not only got to sneak and scheme and misdirect in character, but out of character too. Whee! =) Plus I got to play with my new makeup kit and give myself a wound that scared the lunch ladies.
That's another thing that I like, I like lunch ladies, mostly the ones here at Knox. I wish I could work with them again, but while the situation at the museum is still whee-hoo-hoo with regards to the schedule, I can't. But it's too bad. Lunch ladies have very interesting lives. When Jasmine comes back from Japan, she may continue her quest to gain a vast army of undead lunch ladies. You have to admire that sort of ambition.
Speaking of people I like, that's another thing I like, being with my friends. I've gotten to do a lot of that this term, going over to Williston and hanging out with the people there, or going to Carla and Gemma's apartment and being chased from the building by the Flying Pizza of DOOOM! It's really good for me, because this is the time of year that I tend to get depressed and lonely, but this year I'm feeling good most of the time. My mom would say it's my vitamins, but I know better.
(One person I DON'T like is my nutritionist, Julie. She da debbil.)
That's not everything I like, of course, but my time is limited. I made it a resolution this year that I would try and get to church more often. So even though last night was a LARP night and I'm fair tired, I am going. Because I like church too. Bye!
